Welcome to Piacere Mio, a family-run Mexican Italian Trattoria owned by Chef Fausto Mora and his wife Katherine. By accessing or using our website (piaceremio.nyc), online ordering features, reservation requests, or related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Services
We offer online information, menu browsing, table reservation requests, take-out/pick-up ordering, delivery options (via third-party partners), and catering inquiries. All orders and reservations are subject to confirmation and acceptance by the Restaurant. We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or cancel any order or reservation.
2. Menu, Pricing, and Variations
Our menu features authentic Mexican and Italian fusion dishes, including crowd favorites like lasagna, garlic cream linguine with chicken, chicken piccata, burritos, tacos, and more. Prices shown on our website may vary from those on third-party platforms (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub) or in-restaurant menus due to platform fees, delivery charges, promotions, or operational costs. The prices displayed on our website at checkout govern your transaction with us. All prices are subject to change without notice and are in USD, plus applicable taxes and fees.
3. Ordering, Payments, and Cancellations
Accepted Payment Methods: Credit cards, debit cards, and cash (for pick-up or delivery where offered). Checks may be accepted for catering with prior approval.
Payments are processed securely. You authorize charges for the full amount, including taxes, service fees, delivery fees (if applicable), and gratuity.
Orders are prepared fresh to order. Cancellations are only possible before preparation begins and are subject to our discretion. No refunds after preparation starts.
Delivery is handled by third-party services (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub). We are not responsible for delivery delays, errors, or issues once handed to the carrier.
Pick-up orders must be collected during operating hours (Tuesdays–Sundays, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM; closed Mondays).
4. Food Preparation, Allergens, and Safety
Every dish is freshly made. However:
Our kitchen handles common allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish, soy, eggs, wheat, and others.
We make reasonable efforts to accommodate allergy or dietary requests noted in your order, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or dish due to the risk of cross-contamination.
It is your sole responsibility to inform us of any allergies or restrictions and to decide whether to consume our food.
The Restaurant, its owners (including Chef Fausto Mora), employees, and agents shall not be liable for any allergic reactions, foodborne illness, or health issues resulting from your consumption of our food.
5. Catering Services
Catering is available for events of all sizes (10 to 300+ guests) including weddings, corporate events, birthdays, and more. Customized menus are offered. Deposits are required, and separate terms may apply. Contact us directly for quotes.
6. Reservations
Table reservations are requests only and subject to availability and confirmation. We recommend calling (646) 454-1246 for best results. Late arrivals may result in the table being released after a 15-minute grace period.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on piaceremio.nyc (text, photos, logos, menus) is owned by or licensed to Piacere Mio and protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by New York law:
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order or service.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or consumption of our food.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
10. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
